Pajamas in the pool again…

Today Year 5 practised water safety and rescue techniques in their swimming lesson with Ms. Joaan. Wearing clothes in the lesson provided a more realistic survival situation so that the learners could feel more prepared in the event of a real life water rescue. Drowning in Cambodia is extremely common, particularly in rural areas where children rarely learn to swim. At iCAN we ensure that all of our learners feel confident in the water, and learn both swimming and rescue techniques.
