Community is incredibly important here at iCAN. Families are encouraged to join us for learning experiences in and outside of the classroom, and beyond the school day. Our families want to know what their children are learning so they can come and join us for lessons on our family learning days. They are invited to coffee mornings where we discuss how children learn best and how we can work together to support them. With drop-in afternoons, curriculum evenings, invitations to unit exit points and child led conferences, we aim to keep our families as up to date with learning at iCAN as possible. We join together for weekend events, from kite flying and family movie nights, to tuk-tuk races across the city to build relationships with our families in a fun and welcoming environment.
