Specialist Lessons: Art

Did you know that specialist lessons are many of the learners' favourite? This learning block in Art, Year 5 have been working on their collaborative fairground canvases, using a range of paint and pen techniques within their shared pieces. Cooperative learning is an important part of learning at iCAN. Within these collaborative sessions, the learners are able to practise important skills such as being able to compromise, having the confidence to communicate their ideas, and being respectful of the contributions of others.

For being great at sharing and playing together with other learners building with wooden blocks. Excellent job!   For being a risk taker and being very speedy during phonics to blend and read words. Fantastic learning!   For being a brilliant thinker in maths this week! You have been working resiliently to add accurately and find number bonds to 10. Well done!   For being a risk taker in your writing. You are starting to use a range of interesting words in your writing and it’s great to hear you say your sentences before you write them. Good job!   Being principled, respectful and cooperative. You always give your very best effort on all of your learning, and work hard to support your table team too! Super attitude, well done.
