iCAN's annual celebration was at DIB club today. The learners rotated through a range of fun events and were awarded points for their sportsmanship, encouragement of others, resilience and risk taking in the various events. It was such a fun day and we were honoured to have so many families join us, especially for the final tug-of war!

For being a good thinker in phonics by trying to spot words that rhyme in the story! Well done, keep it up!

For being a fantastic thinker and contributing loads of great ideas during topic time “Transportation” Well done!

For being an independent and principled learner. You approach each learning activity with a positive attitude. It is wonderful to see you growing in confidence and being proud of your learning. Well done!

For working so cooperatively with your team during the planting science investigation. You helped your team and communicated brilliantly with them.

For being so creative in literacy writing an adapted version of Cinderella. Your plot, details and edits were wonderful!

For being a resilient communicator, especially in Literacy writing your biography about J.K. Rowling. Fantastic!

For being an excellent risk taker during the residential and taking part in every activity even when he felt nervous and using excellent motivational phrases to encourage himself and others.
